The PFH-4800 is
a pallet shuttle system which allows one pallet to
be setup while machining is being
performed on the other. The PFH-4800 provides high-speed , high efficiency
machining with feed rates of up to
2362 IPM for X, Y, & Z axes. The spindle speed is
12,000 RPM. Chip to chip time is 2.2 seconds. Our PFH-4800 is also outfitted
with a 4th axis capable of 360,000 positions. Equipped with Mazatrol Fusion 640 CNC control and Renishaw Touch-Probe.

The FH-480 is a pallet shuttle system which allows one pallet to be setup while machining is being performed on the other. Pallet-to-pallet change takes just five seconds, while tool-to-tool change is a mere 1.3 seconds. Equipped with Mazatrol Fusion 640 CNC control and Renishaw Touch-Probe.
The powerful 30 HP spindle drive with 195 ft. lbs. of torque increases productivity immediately. Using a No. 40 taper milling tool, metal removal rates can be achieved at more than 40 cu. in./min. in steel using high torque capabilities, and a blazing 136 cu. in./min. in aluminum with the spindle speed of 12,000 RPM. The top speed can be reached in 1.5 seconds. Our FH-480 is also outfitted with a 4th axis capable of 360,000 positions.
Another outstanding feature of Mazak's FH-480 horizontal machining center is its rigidity. This allows part accuracy and consistency to be maintained anywhere in the machining envelope, with .00004 repeatability, and .00012 accuracy. This is particularly important when multiple parts are loaded top-to-bottom on a tombstone fixture and during heavy-duty, high-thrust cutting.
